Really cool gadget. You can get as many colors as you want via remote control or via the Hue app (available for iPhone or Android). Yes you CAN connect this lamp with your hue bridge (if you have one). This is the best lamp, do not buy the BLOOM. This one has 210 lumens and is much brighter. The only thing I didnt like about this lamp is the transparent plastic on the back. Looks kind of cheap. Simply follow these directions:1) Reset the remote control of the IRIS (you can find a small button next to the battery compartment) 2) Synchronize the remote with lamps. Just place the remote control NEXT to the lamp and HOLD the ON button of the remote until the lamp start blinking. Repeat this process with ALL philips lamps you have (if available). When you finish remote should control ALL lamps. If not try from step 1 again. Warning: When you do this KEEP distance from EACH lamp and the bridge. Move close to the lamp you want to synchronize. You can sync only one lamp/bridge at a time! 3) Reset the bridge by pressing the RESET button for 5 secs (its under the bridge) 4) Stop/Force Kill ANY app you are using in your phone that controls HUE5) In order for the RESET of bridge process to be completed you press the BIG button of the bridge once and IMMEDIATELY0 you HOLD and PRESS the remote control buttons: favorite -looks like (.) - AND the ONE button of the remote.
